Marjorie Margolies: Vote Your Conscience On Health Care Reform

All I can hope is that a loser like Marjorie, who hid like a coward in the cloak room until she got brow-beaten into voting herself out of office. is a real inspiration to liberals. Because as it stands now, the one inspiration they might have had, that little Dennis guy, was the only liberal in the entire caucus who at least pretended to have a spine and to stand for something. While liberals were running all around DC with their stupid little pledges they wanted their pinko members to sign giving the guise that they actually had the sack to draw a line in the sand over a public option, Dennis was the one clown who managed to convice some people he actually meant it. So much for that. So when you say an idiot like Margolies-Mezvinsky is an inspiration to these gutless wonders, I actually somewhat agree with you. She makes them feel good about being the spineless bums they are, and no matter how you slice it, that's good for real Americans who would otherwise have to live under their policies.

The Real Danger to America

The threat to America is not Barack Obama but an electorate capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the mistakes of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their President. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast assembly of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a people such as those who made him their president.
